Everything Heero Yuy does means something. Every kiss he gives me is more than a kiss. Every time he touches me I can tell that it's more than just touching my body. He touches my soul. "Duo?" "Hmm?" "What are you thinking about so hard?" "You." "Me?" I wanted to tell him what I was thinking, but the words kept getting stuck, as if I couldn't form them right. I settled for sighing and kissing his chest, where my head lay comfortably. He laughed and I smiled. "Sometimes I wonder where you've gone off to, when you start thinking like that." "You're not the only one," I joked. "I've been thinking..." his voice trailed off, and I paid attention. When Heero has been thinking about something, it's usually cause to pay attention. When he didn't continue, I nibbled on his nipple. "What have you been thinking?" "We should buy a house. Together." The words came out tentatively, as if he wasn't sure how I'd react. I looked around us. We rented a two-bedroom apartment, and it wasn't too small. But there was something about the way he said it, something about the uncertainty in his voice... Everything Heero Yuy does means something. He never says anything that he doesn't find necessary to say. A house. A life. A life together. A dog. A garden. It wasn't just a house he was proposing, it was our future. I found myself almost wanting to cry, but fought it back as I sat up in our bed. His lips were warm and slick on my back as he wrapped his arms around me. He was almost shaking, and I wondered just how long he'd been thinking about this. I turned around and straddled his lap, laying wet kisses on his neck, on his cheeks, on his eyelids. "If you want to buy a house, then we'll buy a house," I told him, looking in his eyes. "That suits me just fine."
